We hope you love your new Orlumiere piece. We believe fine jewellery should last longer than a single lifetime, and caring for it properly is the best way to ensure generations to come will wear and love it too.

How to best care for your jewellery

• Clean your jewellery at home with warm, mildly soapy water and a very soft brush. Dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
• When storing jewellery, keep pieces separate — wrap them in tissue or cloth when travelling, or use separate compartments in a jewellery box.
• Remove rings and bracelets before tasks that might knock or rub them.
• Put jewellery on after applying makeup, perfume, and hair products.

Looking after earrings and clasps

Ensure clasps and closures click securely into place. As part of our after-care service we recommend a yearly check-up on hinged earrings — contact us when you would like them serviced and we will coordinate the rest.

How to best care for your jewellery box

Store your Orlumiere box away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Dust lightly with a soft dry cloth. Once or twice a year, polish wooden areas with a furniture wax and soft cloth. Clean mirrors carefully with a little white vinegar on a soft cloth, ensuring no liquid touches the interior.
